The picturesque village of Engreux, in the heart of the Ardennes, lies at the confluence of the two Ourthes, about halfway between Houffalize and La Roche-en-Ardenne . By car you are 15 minutes in Baraque de Fraiture.
A dead-end access road to the village guarantees tranquility ... you can only continue via an unpaved road.

Numerous signposted hiking routes wind through the village, the surrounding coniferous and deciduous forests, high plains and valleys. We recommend the long trip around the lake of the barrage de Nisramont.
Many walkers and mountain bikers stop at 'Le Vieil Engreux', one of the pubs in the Ardennes. Jacques serves Ardennes ' dishes among hundreds of gnomes at fair prices.

Thimont
The hamlet of Thimont is a small village of a few houses, part of Buisson, with a well on the village square.
It is located 4 km from La Roche-en-Ardenne in the middle of the beautiful rolling fields and forests.
The holiday homes are located at the back of the small street. Apart from a few farmers who come to count sheep, you can escape the crowds here.

Samree
The village of Samrée - between La Roche-en-Ardenne en Baraque-fraiture is located on the Natura 2000 nature reserve, with beautiful hiking opportunities in the woods . The house is located on the edge of the village and therefore also at the beginning of this hiking paradise with lots of animals
